Owned and run by a former registered nurse, Affinity was established in 2003, aiming to be the go-to specialised source of nurses and midwives to rural, regional and remote Australia.

First established in Queensland, Affinity has grown to develop partnerships with health departments and private facilities across Australia. For over 20 years, our staff have gone the extra mile to change the lives of communities.

Building on this foundation, in 2024 we expanded our expertise to launch Affinity Allied Health — a brand dedicated to bridging the gap in access to qualified allied health professionals throughout rural, regional and remote Australia. This evolution reflects our continued commitment to supporting healthcare delivery wherever it’s needed most.

We’re excited to partner with leading universities; Charles Sturt University, Charles Darwin University and James Cook University to offer nine Affinity Nursing and Midwifery Scholarships.

These scholarships are designed to support students from rural and remote areas who may face financial challenges during their clinical placements. At Affinity, we’re proud to invest in the future of healthcare by supporting the next generation of nurses and midwives—and the communities they go on to serve.
